Panel pictures
This is then time in the restoration that electronics get in my way. I'm comfortable wrenching but working with electrical components in a car intimidates me. I have a general idea how everything works but lack in depth knowledge on how to diagnose electronic problems in a car. But...this is why I love this car; it challenges me. I'll research and figure things out....no other way about it!
Need to find out where this connector goes:
I removed the fuel pump relay and when I turned on the key the fuel pump still came on. I was even able to start the car with the relay out....who knows what mess I have waiting for me. Just trying to find out where they hacked to power the fuel pump when turning the key on...

Fan shroud fixed
Broken fan shroud fixed with Q-Bond, cleaned and back in the car. Installed a working fan controller loaned out by Mr Porsche Parts Xtrordinair Roger Tyson.
Drained the coolant that's been probably seating there for 5+ years and broke the radiator drain plug.

Cooling fans not working
Driver side cooling fan doesn't come on, passenger side fan only comes on when AC is turned on. Pull the fans out and tested; both working correctly. Checked the connection to the black finned fan control box, in the front, they look clean and tight, checked the hood switch; although I need to replace it...broken prawn legs...it's working, and the connections to the control box inside the car on passenger side also looks ok...hard to tell by just looking...what next?

FIRST DRIVE!!!!!
This morning I drove my 928 for the first time. After filling the transmission with fluid...back and forth getting it to the right fluid levels I went for a short run.
It still needs a lot of things but it drives!!!!
