Grommets

Need to come up with a solution for these grommets; they literally crumble when touched. Whatever it is it has to look OEM.

Different shape grommet.

The grommet holders still look good.

Crossmember ready

Got up super early today again and torqued in TT to bellhousing bolts and flex plate to flywheel. Suspended the transmission using "2" 500 lbs straps and removed the jack in preparation for the next phase-rear suspension installation. Presented the crossmember on position and raised it a bit. Placed 3M Strip-Calk on top of the shock tower plates, just like described by Dwayne. Next I'll work on the brakes....can't wait!

Manufacturing time!

A type of clip style device that holds the Bowden cable in place on top of the bellhousing with a 6 Allen bolt. It also acts as a guide to hold the vacuum line. When I brought down the TT I forgot about it and ripped it. Well I had to manufacture it out of aluminum. The long side I'm going to wrap around the metal end of the Bowden cable.
